22 Apr (Wed): Grand Canyon, AZ, to 05 May. On this date in 1997 Time Bandit and her crew became a family so our 30th year full time on the road has begun. Temps here = high 60s day/low 40s night. Monday’s fuel stop at Love’s in Williams, AZ, had Time Bandit swallow 83.555 gal of diesel (max capacity 150 gal) @ $5.739/gal pump price but 81 cents/gal less for us with our Open Roads Truckers discount. Rare no high-speed pumps = 42.74 seconds/gal making a very long fuel stop for us, even more so for truckers. |
