16 October (Wed): Long Island Village, Port Isabel, TX. Exactly one year ago our son, Bjorn (52), left this life due to alcoholism. Our emotions still sway from sadness to anger, especially so of late the latter as our FL daughter-in-law and grandson became hurricane refugees fleeing to GA when Bjorn was needed most. As for us, early Sunday we watched the spectacular SpaceX launch and recovery at Boca Chica Spaceport just four miles to our south. I continue to rehab my broken right hip and life goes on |
