26 Apr (Sat): Grand Canyon Trailer Village, AZ, for two weeks of hiking and biking. Our “boots on the trail” will be the first real world test of my titanium right hip after shattering God’s original 7 ½ months ago. Giving ourselves credit, we have worked very, very hard to get our life back and we’re excited for the contest. We’re now gone from Port Isabel, TX, by 2,056 miles since 09 April and elevations from sea level to 7,313’. In OK and TX we successfully left monsoon rains and tornados behind us. |
