Volunteering by spending the winter in a horse barn at Frontier Park in Graham, WA. We were here last year in the winter also and they asked us to come back and installed full hookups in one of their show horse barns. Out of the weather till we leave here in the spring. |

30 Jun (Mon): Waldport, OR (KOA). We are camped on the Pacific coast for 16 days, a decrease of 5,413’ from our Diamond Lake visit. The OR shore is magical with broad beaches, steep cliffs and island rock formations. From our campsite the Alsea Bay Bridge is visible. Spanish sailors lead by Juan Cabrillo first explored America’s west coast in the 1540s. Cabrillo died during the expedition but his crew continued on, possibly as far north as Oregon, before thrashing winter storms forced them back to Mexico. |
