22 Feb (Sun): Port Isabel, TX. Long Island Village, built in the 1970s, is the site of our Intracoastal Waterway lot we purchased in 1994, “wintering” here since 1997. Now undergoing a multi-year project costing millions to update/reroute electric, water and sewer utilities requires miles of trenching. We are pleased to note the sewer line crew is using a transit to ensure adequate elevation drop given that “s##t” doesn’t flow uphill, a fact some campgrounds we have stayed in still fail to realize. |
